Colors And Prints In The Swimwear Manufacturing Process

During your design process, it’s crucial to consider these changes and either pre-purchase sufficient fabric or remain flexible in your color selection for manufacturing and reorders.
When it comes to digital printing, you have two options: sublimation and direct-to-garment (DTG). DTG works with nylon but usually requires a high MOQ, which may not be feasible for most swimwear startups. On the other hand, sublimation printing can be achieved at a low MOQ, offering good quality and permanent colors. But remember, it must be done on polyester fabric. We recommend a blend of at least 60% polyester for the best and long-lasting results. Swimwear manufacturers who claim they can sublimate on nylon might not be well-informed about the process, so it’s better to avoid them.
Sublimated prints on polyester-based fabrics are highly regarded for their performance in the fashion industry.
